Because Of You combines Julia's interest in handmade objects and materials that have both strength and fragility. In a unique edition of 25, Julia has made two connected ceramic links that are stamped with "BECAUSE OF YOU" and also stamped with her initials, date, and edition number. In 2011 Julia had an exhibition at Half Gallery where she installed ceramic chains varying in length from five to thirty feet and this new edition is a continuation of Julia's interest in ideas of connectivity. Because of You when stacked is approximately 8" x 5" x 2", each link 3/4" diameter. Because each is handmade, size and shape will vary.
