Bird with Tree is a painted bronze sculpture in a limited edition of 20. Lee created Bird with Tree in the virtual reality program Oculus Rift, which he uses to sketch in preparation for his paintings. Instead of using the digital drawing for painting inspiration, Bird with Tree directly transforms a virtual drawing into a three-dimensionally printed object, which is then cast in bronze and painted. Bird with Tree is published by Pace Editions, Inc, and produced by AllRightsReserved Ltd. The work ships in a custom designed crate with a Certificate of Authenticity, signed and numbered by the artist.
