Description

SAND CIRCLE is a sculpture made with glass, sand, liquid and exoplanet decals. As the sculpture is turned, the currents of the liquid cause the sands to swirl and fall into unique sand patterns each time the object is moved; no pattern will ever repeat itself. The pink sand consists of small shards of quartz, causing it to fall at a different speed than the white sand which is smaller and lighter. SAND CIRCLE comes in studio designed housing with a wooden standing base, sealing label, and a pair of white art handling gloves. This is an edition of 500 pieces, and each SAND CIRCLE includes a holographic label verifying its edition number and authenticity.
