We recently collaborated with Dashiell Manley to release initial elegy (2015), a print edition based on a painting from his recent Elegy series. Manley's newest collection of paintings manifests a meditative quality through controlled and composed problem-solving by working in sharp impastoed slashes that communicate a sense of melancholic zen. In our new embellished series by Manley, he further explores this meditative process by an added tactile layer of pure white acrylic paint atop the original print edition. Each work in this series features intentional unique variants handpainted by the artist in his Los Angeles studio.
