As an artist, I feel honored to have my work contribute to this cause and help PangeaSeed further their goals. Back in 2014, I painted a mural on Isla Mujeres, Mexico that inspired this print project. I chose to paint one of the majestic Whale Sharks of that region with the text: ‘Moriría Por Ti’ which translates to ‘I Will Die For You’. I hoped to make a statement about how much marine life such as sharks are affected and threatened by human life, human greed and industrial activity. They are literally dying for us.
