Yellow Cab is a self portrait fragment – straps and leather twist into an abstraction reminiscent of Bruce Nauman's Bound to Fail and Nobuyoshi Araki bondage photographs. Abundant in texture, the image appears urban but otherworldly, much like the elephantine bagel totems Liden installed around New York City's West Village in collaboration with Art Production Fund last summer.
