Drawing source material from Google and Instagram, The New York Times states that she takes "photo appropriation into new extremes of dimensionality." Beavers "exaggerates and satirizes both the act of painting and the fetishization of food" by using thick acrylic medium to sculpt, carve and paint her relief works to life. Exhibition A is pleased to present a new print from a pastel drawing of one of Beavers' most beloved–and humorous–works to date.
