The title of this image makes reference to the ACDC song "A whole lotta Rosie" and Hayley's beverage of choice, a particularly good Rose' made by her neighbor's winery. The original painting, a massive oil on canvas work, was one in her series of Rock 'N' Roll Rednecks from 2014. The grossly exaggerated female form, of woman and pig, humorously deals with uneasy subjects. The tendency within Aussie culture to type cast women as sex objects and objects of motherhood concerns Hayley, however the irreverent treatment of this subject may also suggest she is complicit to the problem. You might say, until you witness the feeding frenzy of 10 plus piglets from only 5 minutes old.
