"The 'Lich Series' concept is simple. Government officials deem anyone expressing his or her opinion without permission on a wall as a threat to society, which they remedy with 'The Buff'. They take colourful imaginative walls and turn them to a monotone patchy mass of grey in the blink of an eye. It's strange because public eyesores are encouraged, provided it's in the form of an airbrushed billboard selling unattainable ideals, and can be sold to the highest bidder. This series pokes fun at that and is a subversive look at how I imagine things would be if artists took control of the streets and buffed out the real dangers with a Roy Lichtenstein style brushstroke." ~ Chris Cunningham.
