In the movie, Zissou plays an eccentric oceanographer, with undeniable love and appreciation for the sea life. Through vibrant colors, intricate patterns and references to the invented sea creatures that appear in the movie, I wanted to create the piece that reflected the complex, colorful and beautiful nature of the ocean life." - Vedran Misic.
