"The piece was created in the Spring of 2012 for Pangea Seed, a non profit organization that raises shark awareness and their importance to the ecosystem and world at large. I wanted to intermingle my current fine art work in the context of representation versus literal. So the piece itself depicts a woman wrestling with three sharks, but the sharks themselves are representational of her subconscious battles and inner struggles.
