"My latest piece is titled "Apocalypse Now" but has little to do with the film from which the title originates. Rather, it's influenced by the horsemen of the Apocalypse and the shape in which I imagine them in. Not as Fiery horses coming down from the great beyond but rather as grotesque manifestations of the things that we find innocent and harmless. The nightmare that, what was will be no more. This painting is set on a box frame measuring 23 inches wide and 20 inches tall and 2 inches wide. The base is on old panel I found in my studio which at one point was my cutting board for stencils. The image is a juxtaposition of a "My Little Pony" topped with a demonic human skull. The darkness of the skull is contradicted with the inspired colorings of a kid's coloring book. The final piece is clear coated with lacquer and presented for your viewing pleasure." - BASK.
