Made and printed entirely by BÄST’s own hand at The Outsiders’ dedicated Execution Dock studio, ‘Dalston Unitooth’ is a psychedelic impression of NYLON, the Trans-Atlantic dimension where the hipsters of America and Europe come together. Each giant screen print features eighteen colours applied by BÄST himself using oil paints and acrylics. This includes 22-carat gold leaf adroitly applied upon the 'unitooth' itself. Only three of the twenty-one colours are applied with a silk screen press. Splendidly off-beat, 'Dalston Unitooth' is inspired by BÄST's distinctive 'Scenario Del Rio' exhibition at The Outsiders Newcastle last year.
