Description

Harland Miller. Death, what’s in it for me?. White Cube is pleased to release this new screenprint by Harland Miller. Miller is a painter and writer and his book cover imagery always toys sardonically with language. Here the screenprint returns the book cover to the graphic process of printmaking, and yet the painterly qualities of the artist’s work are still present. ‘Death, what’s in it for me?’ is based on an original watercolour by the artist. Using humour and the cerise and white design of the Pengiun cover that represents the ‘travel and adventure’ series, Miller wryly encourages us to consider the greatest metaphysical adventure of all. This print is being released for Easter 2011 and will be delivered at the end of May 2011. The price will rise with every ten editions sold. In order to give all of our collectors a chance to purchase this we are limiting orders to a maximum of three per person. Harland Miller. Death, what’s in it for me?.
