'Dumparoo' by Todd James 25 x 25 x 30 cm — edition of 15 handpainted resin sculptures (www.casestudyo.com). The current idea for the exhibit sprung to life out of an earlier collab between James and Studio Toykyo on a small, signed and numbered hand-painted Resin sculpture. Talks of tanks or a different kind of jet were passed back and forth, but the final decision rested on a jet sculpture, based off of a James painting from 2008. The manic blue character appears menacing and poised for takeoff, but is anchored by his waste. Curren$y’s J.E.T.S acronym thoroughly applies here: Just Enjoy This Shit.
