'No Substitute for Your Love' 2003 was inspired by Holbein's 'Portrait of a Lady with a Squirrel and a Starling'. Typically scratchy and hesitant, with the lines of the surrounding nature studies fading in and out, 'No Substitute for Your Love' is a bittersweet evocation of absent love.
