Hebru Brantley draws inspiration from comic books and pop art to create empowering, afrofuturist visions. Hebru says, “3 THE HARD WAY portrays the concept of standing together to fight a system of racism and violence against the Black community — because we are stronger together.” The print, an edition of 125, is a 19 layer silkscreen print with a diamond dust finish on 100% cotton paper, Somerset Tub Sized 410gsm. This edition also comes as a sculpture. FRAMING. The framing option will present the work float-mounted inside a black painted wooden frame. The work will be mounted using archival Japanese paper loops, on acid-free mount board. The frame will use UV Plexiglas for protection and measure in at 76cm x 59cm x 3cm. LAUNCH INFO. Collectors will be required to register their interest to participate in the launch. If you have previously signed up for the waiting list, then you will be automatically registered for the launch. We will release more info about the launch process to registrants in due course. Collectors will be required to agree to a resale agreement for this work.
