Neither purely figurative or absolutely abstract, Granados begins his work by writing short stories which provide the general narrative framework to ground the compositions. He continue to decontextualize the narrative by undergoing a series of erasures and collaging of these vignettes, resulting in dreamscape compositions in which elements of cartoonish scenes interplay with gestural, illustrative line work.
