In late 2015, Cole Sternberg embarked on the maiden voyage of a shipping vessel that crossed the Pacific from the Japanese shipyard where it was built. Sternberg spent twenty-one days on the ship, exploring the macro nature of the surrounding expanse of the ocean and the micro existence of life on the ship. In just a moment later, his handmade edition exclusive to Exhibition A, Sternberg created thermal transfers in his studio to showcase a photograph of an obstructed sunset witnessed during a moment aboard the ship.
