"With "Eruption" I wanted to develop and refine the "DAIMwave" series that we released here last year. But much more than that with "Eruption" my way of working is changing tremendously since it is the first motive that I didn't realize on canvas but on an aludibond-honeycomb panel. The new material of course also is the beginning of a whole new series of works and in "Eruption" I really wanted to focus on the details. Because of that I wanted to fragment my writers name DAIM and deconstruct the letters itself again. It is "erupting", bursting into and from a bright colour pallete. The new working process and singular motive paired with the for me unusual colours make this edition unique in various ways." - Daim.
