'First Time Ever' is a limited edition print inspired by the song "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" made famous by Roberta Flack. I think it is quite simply one of the most perfectly formed love songs ever written. It has been said that calligraphy is music for the eyes and I really wanted to try to do the song justice as a piece of visual art. These two limited edition colourways are the only prints I will ever produce of this piece.
