Entitled 'ITI_03 LONDON BRIDGE' this Dimensional Edition is the third in a series of 'Industrial Technology Issues', in which Neate uses tehnological processes to create accessible 'mass produced' limited editions. Neate took his inspiration for this extraordinarily complex Dimensional Edition from a seminal 2008 painting, on cardboard, of the same name. A stunning composition, depicting the seemingly anonymous business men trudging across London Bridge in rush hour, this Dimensional Edition gives a hint of their differing personalities and aspirations by their choice of tie. As with his latest Dimensional Paintings, the position of the viewer can change the effect of the work, as the eight different, holographic, light reflecting foils 'spin', 'shift' and change colour. This Dimensional Edition comes, ready to hang, in a bespoke, archival, John Jones black wooden frame, glazed with UV protective and non-reflective perspex in order to capture it's finest and subtlest details, including, UV varnishing, embossing and debossing.
