For this year's NADA New York fair, Printed Matter is pleased to debut a new fundraising edition by Israel Lund. NADA New York takes place May 9-11, on Pier 36 at Basketball City. The editioned work features a variable silkscreen image over a two-color offset print, making each one unique. Untitled utilizes familiar imagery from the artist's work on raw canvas, in which he applies acrylic paint through a screen-print process to create roughly worked, pixelated patterns and half-tone dots that feel digitally-born. Vertical white bands, an element in this edition, are another a motif present in Lund's recent paintings. The work measures 8.5 x 11", is produced in an edition of 50, and retails at $400.
