"I have been playing with stencils of money for the last 4-5 years and I thought it would be interesting to play with the actual shape of the money as well as subvert the literal content. This piece consists of 13 stencils spray painted on wood panel. Each has a unique background and slight variations to it. These pieces have also been distressed by hand and coated with a urethane finish. I really believe along with a lot of other people that the treasury is corrupt and it's a rigged game that people can't win........I could go on and on about this, but basically I want to show money in a different shape to present the idea of alternative forms of capitalism."- Denial.
