Since co-founding 1xRUN, Dan Armand has had a crucial role in developing the company’s visual aesthetic. A College for Creative Studies illustration graduate, Dan worked a variety of design jobs before moving on to work at 1xRUN full-time. He and Jesse met while Jesse was filming a street art doc in Detroit in 2003 — Dan went from subject of the doc to helping create it, logging tapes for the project (and getting school internship credit in the process).
