Bio

As a serving soldier in The Royal Dragoon Guards, I completed tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. I was able to offset my thoughts between patrols by drawing. In 2012 I terminated my service and was diagnosed with PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder). I used my passion for art to help me overcome some demons that followed and painting helped me defeat them. I have always had an interest in fine art, however my greatest passion is cartoons. As a self taught artist, I wanted my paintings to reflect the images that you would see on your TV screens, but with the added affect of a little bit of realism and some nice bright colours thrown in. “In every dark day, colour makes everything better” David Kaye.
